The swift worldwide developments, regional as well as national conditions and particularly short term demands require that economic activities of Astan Quds Razavi would be planned and implemented in the form of developmental functions and reasonable and practical programs. Razavi economic organization has established based upon Astan Quds Razavi's Grand Custodian in order to optimize economic firms management under the patronage of this organization, the next development and investments as well as responsibility to provide and supply a reliable financial and economic patronage for cultural activities and supreme purposes of Astan Quds Razavi and the opportunities for employment. From the beginning of the establishment, this organization has designed facilities and formulated functional programs to fulfill the favorite objectives of the organization by considering the effective conditions and difficulties in economic activities. In 2003, the necessities for formulating a strategic program to the economic activities were provided under the supervision of Razavi economic organization by providing the essential substructures. This organization has a special and strategic position because of its connection with Sameno'l-Ae'meh; Imam Reza's (AS) Holy Shrine that makes it more credible than the other similar agencies, so that such economic organization is one of the biggest economic holdings in Iran specially in the east of the country that has played an important role for flourishing the economy of the region.
PROFILE:
Astan Quds Razavi's economic activities have existed since long considering the holy endowment fact by separating the economic activities from the other cultural activities and since 1997 by improving the structure of the establishments as well as registering the institution lawfully, the Razavi economic organization has directed and organized in the form of the organization in Ordibehesht (the second month in Persian year) 1383 / 2003. This organization undertakes the management of 89 firms and institutions which in 44 cases it has upwards to %50 of shares and in the rest 45 units has less than %50 of shares. The activities' areas of the institutions and firms can be divided into 4 main fields as follows:
1. Industry and mine
2. Agriculture
3. Construction & Civil Engineering
4. Substructural activities in the Free Economic Zone of Sarakhs.
